Love for Ora

Real messages from students, in their own words.

Ora AI. Started by Stanford students and NSGs. Actually pretty good so far cheap ish too
Ora is so good.
Ora is a great platform for multi-modal learning.
Great, I love this. I passed Step 1.
You know, the most amazing thing about Ora isn't the QBanks or the flashcards or the performance stats or whatever; it's the way it keeps you engaged with the content and wanting to learn more. The definitions are critical for this. Ora presents the content to you in such a way that minimizes barriers to success, and that keeps the dopamine rushes coming and the user interested. Really, really outstanding product you guys have.
I'm beyond glad that I discovered Ora early on and have made it central to my USMLE prep.
Hello I here, I just review the new teature about the specific topics and IS SO AMAZING AND GREAT, really Jacob Thank you very much for listening to my request and working on it very fast, this will help me a lot during my dedicated time for the Step 1
Thank you
AMAZING! Thank you for the distinctions from other similar pathologies, the questions that we can answer, and the perfect level of explanation and details while keeping it succinct
Hi! I have used Ora for a little over a year. I used it pretty heavily for my Step 2/Shelf studying and feel that I have an informed viewpoint on it. I completely understand your skepticism. I found Ora's questions to be the closest to actual NBME questions in terms of writing style and logic- some questions are very straightforward while others hinge on a detail that completely rule out other answer choices. I can only assume that this is because the AI model that generated the questions was trained on NBME and CMS forms to closely mimic that style of question and content covered. They have groups of people vetting the questions too who are looking for the same errors that you are.

If you want the most detail, you can read my writeup on my step 2 exam, but I did well. Ora was an integral part of my studying and without a doubt helped me achieve that score. I used in conjunction with UWorld and Amboss. I personally skipped the flashcards since I was already doing Anki but watched some of the videos and did questions daily. I'm taking EM clerkship during my 4th year in February and am planning on using it for that. I'd recommend it, as a question bank it is constantly improving which isn't necessarily something you can say for UWorld. Happy to answer any questions you may have about it.

Fantastic! You guys are killing it. Thank you!
You are the best!!!! I will recommend ora to everyone
Wow. I have to say I am completely amazed at the speed with which you guys incorporated my feedback!
Thank you!
Took a GI quiz today and I just wanted to say that you guys rock. This platform is amazing. Im not sure how you generate the practice questions and flash cards but they are spot on.
Awesome, thanks. Great product by the way, Ill admit that I was surprised at how good the question quality is on first use (it's virtually indistinguishable from World which I would consider gold-standard in terms of questions and explanations), but with the quick-reference tap/hover-for-more-info features of AMBOSS and the dedicated in-depth study material of a full-fledged prep course
Hi Ora Al team, I just discovered this website/app today and loving it so far.
In return for my faux pas, i will delineate what I have particularly enjoyed:
1. Pokemon or Drug makes me unbelievably happy
2. I was pleasantly surprised to see more video options related to various topics
3. Your LLM is developing a more tolerable bedside manner
4. Thank you for all you do!
5. The nesting specificity of performance topics is fantastic (actually what i was going to talk to Al about before I realized you were a human)
~ 1mth
Oh. and after ditching World for ORA, somehow managed to get nearly 1SD above the mean on my surgery shelf :) thanks!!!!

Thank you for building a great app!
I love the rapid iterations! Thanks so much for making this thing awesome!

Comment: Beautiful modern looking platform, easy to navigate, better explanations than UWorld with convenient Al chat.
Check out Ora AI. They have both a high-yield/cram option that's around 1–2K cards. It worked well for me toward the end as I wanted a streamlined, high-yield coverage option.

You can also do the UWorld premade flashcards; there are fewer than the Ora AI ones but they're pretty good. They have a lot of the tables/charts from Uworld.

Both of the above are great high-yield coverage if you don't like the FA RR deck.
I notice you guys added a feature to alter the magnification of documents on the app. Thank you so much! It looks and works great.

That's the most insane turnaround time I've ever seen. On a SUNDAY. Who the hell are you, Jacob.
Works perfectly. This is a small but significant change. Thank you so, so much! I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Great Q bank, keep it aligned with NBME STEP1 concepts!!!
Hey Jacob, I've been a fan of the app so far, I personally prefer it over World as I perform them both side by side.
Thank you so much! I am a huge fan of the platform and its allowed me to be really successful on my in-house exams so far
i love love love the games! I like to drill with another med student and it's the drilling I like but i can play a game
great questions and good repetition

Comment: Great explanations and automatically makes Anki based on weaknesses
I did very well on my medicine shelf after using Ora for 12 weeks!
I've been doing excellent since switching over to Ora and have been impressing people with my knowledge.
